Australian scientists make breakthrough in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome testing – ABC Radio

Radio interview: PM with Mark Colvin

Scientists at Griffith University discuss their recent research findings on ABC Radio – PM with mark Colvin on Monday evening (29/02/2016).

They believe they will be able to soon produce a diagnosis for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome that could be as simple as having a blood test, through the identification of new markers on white blood cells. Such tests would provide the ability to screen patients who present with symptoms characteristic of ME/CFS.
Griffith University scientists say understanding the pathology behind Chronic Fatigue Syndrome will help to legitimise the disease.
