Foundational Supports – General Supports Consultation

Complete our survey!

The Australian Government is currently developing services for Australians with disability who aren’t eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). These will be called Foundational Supports.

There are two parts to Foundational Supports:
  1. General Supports: access to information, advice & referrals; as well as individual and community capacity building. Available to those who are and are not eligible for NDIS support.
  2. Targeted Supports: disability-specific supports for people who are not eligible for NDIS.
This consultation is about General Supports. Targeted Supports will be developed in the future.

Emerge Australia has a private consultation session with the Department of Social Services to discuss the Federal Government’s proposed new General Supports.

To make sure we represent your needs and concerns during this meeting, we are conducting a survey about General Supports. The results of this survey will inform our presentation and submission. We will publish our submission on our website after it has been submitted.

Survey closes midnight, Sunday 17 November.
