Shaving my hair as a fundraiser for ME/CFS
On 11 May I will be shaving my head with all donations going towards Emerge Australia.
My main goal is to raise awareness of the difficulties that come with living with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome and Long COVID, and how it make things such as keeping clean and brushing teeth so difficult.
This is my second year running this fundraiser, last year raising $2,448!
I would love to raise funds to support the research into ME/CFS and Long COVID, a subject close to my heart as my brother has lived with ME/CFS for an extended period of time and it has impacted his life greatly.
I hope that one day the fundraiser I’ve put together can help him get back to doing what he’d love to do, and also positively effect all the many others that suffer from it as well.
