Finding people for your health team

Home / Management / Finding people for your health team

ME/CFS is not routinely taught in universities, and your team may find it helpful to learn more about the condition. Free education for clinical and medical professionals is available here, and non clinical education for people living with ME/CFS and their supporters can be found here.

How to get support in finding people for your health team

Emerge Australia has a list of practices that have at least one practitioner who:

  • has attended one of our education sessions or;
  • has been recommended by a person or carer with ME/CFS or;
  • the practitioner has listed themselves or;
  • are listed publicly as providing care for a co-morbidity associated with ME/CFS.

You can access the directory by clicking here and provide feedback on the directory by clicking here.

Community support

Connecting with others who understand can provide support, practical ideas, and a sense of belonging. Our community has an independent Facebook group, separate from Emerge Australia, where people support one another while trying to find appropriate medical care. You can access this group by clicking here.
