Joining or Creating a Fundraising Team

 

How do I join a fundraising team?
Visit the campaign page and browse the list of active teams. Click the “Join Team” button on the team you’d like to support. You’ll be prompted to create a fundraiser profile and provide basic details. Once submitted, your request may require approval from the team captain or campaign admin.

Can I join more than one team?
Yes! You can join multiple teams and create a unique fundraiser page for each. Your name and email will remain the same, but you can personalise each page with a different story and fundraising goal

How do I create my own team?
Click the Create a Team button on the campaign page. You’ll become the team captain and can set a team name, goal, and story. After submitting, your team may require admin approval before going live.

Can I invite others to join my team?
Absolutely. Once your team is approved, you can invite friends, family, or colleagues by sharing your team page link. They can click Join Team and follow the registration steps. If fundraiser approval is enabled, you’ll need to approve their request

 


 

Individual Fundraising

 

How do I sign up as an individual fundraiser?
Go to the Power Our Practitioners campaign page and click the “Register as an individual” link. You’ll be guided through a quick registration process to create your personal fundraising page.

Do I need to join a team to participate?
No, you can fundraise independently. When signing up, simply choose the option to create an individual fundraiser without joining a team.

Can I join a team later?
Yes! If you start as an individual, you can join a team later by visiting the team page and clicking “Join Team”. Your fundraiser will then be linked to that team.


 

Fundraiser Profiles and Goals

 

What is a fundraiser profile?
A fundraiser profile is your personal page within the campaign. It includes your photo, story, and fundraising goal. You can share this page to encourage donations and track your progress.

Can I customise my fundraiser story?
Yes! During signup, you’ll be prompted to write a short story explaining why you’re fundraising. This helps connect with potential donors and inspire support.

How are fundraiser goals set?
Each fundraiser can set their own goal. Campaign admins may suggest a default amount, but you can adjust it to suit your ambitions

 


 

Campaign Details and Progress

 

What is the overall campaign goal?
The campaign goal represents the total amount we aim to raise across all teams and fundraisers. Progress is tracked in real-time and displayed on the campaign page.

How do donations work?
Donations made through your fundraiser or team page contribute to both your personal goal and the overall campaign goal. All donations are securely processed via the platform.

What is the leaderboard?
The leaderboard showcases top-performing teams and fundraisers. It adds a fun, competitive element to the campaign and helps motivate participants

 


 

Donations and Sharing


How do I share my fundraiser?
Once your page is live, you’ll receive a unique link you can share via email, social media, or messaging apps. The more you share, the more support you can gather! We have put together some fundraising resources to help you get started.

Will I be notified when someone donates?
Yes. You’ll receive email notifications for each donation, and your fundraiser dashboard will update in real-time.

Can I edit my team or fundraiser page after publishing?
Yes. You can update your story, goal, and images at any time by logging into your account and navigating to your dashboard.

What happens when my goal is reached?
You can continue fundraising beyond your goal! Reaching your target is a milestone, but every additional dollar helps support the cause.

Can I donate without joining a team?
Yes. You can donate directly to the campaign or to an individual fundraiser without joining a team.

Are there registration fees?
No, there are no registration fees for the Power Our Practitioners campaign.
