The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an Australian government initiative that provides funding and support to people with permanent and significant disabilities. The NDIS helps individuals access the services, equipment, and resources they need to live an independent and fulfilling life, with a focus on personal choice and control.
The NDIS is currently updating guidelines in response to recent legislative changes. As a result, some of Emerge Australia’s NDIS content is out-of-date and undergoing review. We aim to provide updated resources when the new guidelines are published.
Please note: Emerge Australia does not provide individual (one-to-one) advocacy for NDIS access requests or appeals. However, we are happy to answer general questions and offer guidance where possible.
