This week’s podcast is with Nicholas Carlton, Former Creative Director, Advocate and ME/CFS Sufferer: Nicholas Carlton who was a senior political advisor and creative director but was forced at the age of 31 years to medically retire. He has been suffering with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia now for around two and a half years. An eloquent writer who came to our attention through his online voice – we’re delighted he is able to join Anne in conversation to tell us more about his experiences and insights.

In this enlightening conversation – we learn how there was a very clear beginning to Nicholas’ ME/CFS following a stomach bug and his body not recovering thereafter. From that point, he has endured overwhelming severe fatigue and pain moving around different parts of his body, and he just could not get out of bed. Sharing his optimism and bringing hope, this is a powerful story of courage and commitment.
