Virtual Support Groups – For People Who Live With ME/CFS or long COVID

Virtual Support Groups

Accessing ongoing support and connecting with others who are going through similar experiences is one of the main requests we receive. Our virtual support groups are here for people who live with ME/CFS or long COVID providing the opportunity to connect with others who understand the challenges of living within energy limits.

Our next virtual support groups run ever two weeks for five sessions, from February to July 2025.

  • Each group has up to 12 participants and is hosted by one of Emerge Australia’s facilitators.
  • The live sessions are conducted using a virtual support room.
  • Additional connection between sessions is possible through a private chat space in Emerge Australia’s forum.

We have three ways for you to stay involved and keep the groups active after the 5 sessions. This pilot project called ‘Volunteer Community Champions’. This initiative aims to train community members to volunteer as group moderators. Further information about this pilot project will be made available during the support sessions.
